We got a light fresh coat of snow overnight. This is really getting us all in the Christmas spirit.

What a fun wedding. The church was marvelous, stunning pipe organ and vibrant stained glass windows all over. And the reception.... Maggiano's in Schaumburg! What a royal time. The setting, staff and food was, well, Bravisimo!

The leaves are falling down and the calendar is filling up. Looks like a very busy summer next year.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thank you Martha Stewart for the great apple pie recipe. Tracey used a dozen Granny Smith apples in this masterpiece and topped it with a layered sugar glazed top crust. We may have to start the desert course first!

Wow, what a great day we had out at Cantigny. It was cold and blustery a few days before and the same a few days after, but the seasons gave one last gorgeous fall afternoon for this fun loving couple. We went all over the grounds there, enjoying the scenery and some old military hardware as well. Until next August...

Phil & Krissy

What do you get when the son of a Wedding Photographer who is an accomplished photographer himself gets married? Lets just say there were more camera's out for this big event than any Hollywood red carpet affair I've ever seen! Everyone was great. We were honored to be asked to shoot Phil and Krissy's wedding. Our contribution to the thousands of pictures taken at this event are now online.

What a beautiful day for an engagement shooting session. The fall colors, the cool air and an antique trolly car running to a pumpkin patch.

We had a great time and are really looking forward to this wedding next April!

Autumn Colors of Spring

The temperature has been in the 40's to 60's with a constant threat of a hard frost but Spring can be seen all over still. While out doing an engagement session with a fantastic couple (Jeff and Michelle - coming soon!) I spotted the tiny burst of color amongst the brown and drying wild grasses. I took the opportunity to get up close and personal with signs of springtime one last time.

What a gorgeous day for this wedding. Friends and family from all over the country and the bluest sky of the year. It was magnificent.

A Cantigny Day

If you have not been to Cantigny, in Winfield, you gotta go. It's like a mini Morton Arboretum with Army tanks and stuff! We took advantage of the beautiful day Sunday to walk about there.

Wow, what a big event. This wedding had it all! Pre-ceremony at a fab salon, getting ready at mom's, stretch limo to the church, bubbles, a stop for a great hot dog at Scooby's hot dog stand and off to a grand reception. There was a beautiful butter creme cake and custom touches everywhere! Wedding wishes candy bars, signing matte, photo guest book, DVD slide show, a rock star DJ, photo studio, gourmet food and libations flowing freely. This one set the mark very high.
